Basic Eye Care

Guidelines to keep your eyes healthy:

  1. Healthy diet that include Vitamin C and E
  2. Eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
  3. Do not eat food high in cholesterol and refined sugars
  4. Broccoli, carrots, sprouts, green beans and cabbage are good for our eyes
  5. Limit your coffee intake

Eye Myths:

  1. Reading with a dim light can damage our eyes
  2. Watching television closely is bad. There is no proof that this can damage your eyes
  3. a lot of reading is bad. It is excellent exercise for the eyes and cannot cause any damage
Remember: Do not ever take your eyes for granted. Protect your eyes.
